Wade
Carter
earned his degree in business marketing, management and psychology
at the University Of Central Oklahoma, 1972. He completed a course
of study at John Hoff's College Of Carpet Manufacturing Knowledge
and launched his career as a District Sales Manager for E.T. Barwick Mills in southern California. Serving as a
Barwick District Manager in Arizona and then in Florida he returned to Arizona
in 1974. He managed sales in Arizona, New Mexico and Las Vegas
for World Carpets, Catalina Mills, and Camelot Mills before
establishing his own firm W.F. Carter And Associates in 1984.
WFCA subsequently became known as one of the premier flooring sales
agencies in the southwest under his direction. He has been
recognized by the Arizona Floor Covering Association for his 30 plus
years of service to the industry in Arizona. He opened his
first to the trade showroom in 1984 at the Arizona Design Center at
Cactus and Tatum in Paradise Valley. In June of 2008 he opened
his new showroom at the Arizona Design Center in Scottsdale Arizona
at Indian Bend and the Pima Freeway. Wade has become known as
an expert in his field of flooring. His dedication to the
industry and enthusiasm for his chosen decorative specialty has
earned him high praise from his associates.
